Improving my Photography

Thanks to TEN: Ten Ways to Improve Your Craft. None of Them Involve Buying Gear I have tried to develop my photography skills. I have focussed on three tips that I used in my Daily Creates.

1) Look to the light

2)Create Depth

3)Change My Perspective By Changing Yours

I found that I used all these techniques with just one photo that I used for the ‘Photoblitz’ challenge.

This photo is taken with the background of a white wall opposie a big window which made it ‘over exposed’ which works in contrast to the black of the candle holder. I also created depth of field by having the belongings in the background out of focus ans the lamp sharp in focus. Finally I tried to take the photo from a low angle facing under the lamp rather than infront, to skew perception of the image.

What do you think?
